Scraper Bikes
Hi Folks. This was a class project that I worked on in a group last semester. Rafael Flores directed and produced it, and I edited this version for class. A good example of editing something that I did not direct or produce (I was the Assistant Director).
Rafael Flores, the Director/Producer has his own version (with more footage and music) that he edited and is submitting to film festivals. He is raising money to submit to festivals by selling dvds of his film. To buy one contact:
Green Eyed Media Film Now on Sale: "The Scraper Bike King" "The Scraper Bike King" - Directed by Rafael Flores A touching documentary about the original creator of the Oakland-based Scraper Bike Movement: Tyrone Stevenson Jr. (a.k.a."Bay-be" Champ). This film investigates how the 19 year-old entrepreneur first began the bicycle movement as a way to get kids off the tough streets of East Oakland. His recent fame generated by his Scraper Bike Theme Song on "YouTube" has catapulted him into stardom by getting him in touch with rap stars in the Bay Area (Keak the Sneak, the Trunk Boiz and Hyroglyphics to name just a few). Now on sale for $7. All proceeds go to Green Eyed Media's fund for to get this film into more festivals. To purchase copies, send a check, cash or money order to: Green Eyed Media 305 Palmcrest Dr. - Apt. #21Daly City, CA (94015)
If you want, you can buy a scaper bike from them.
